Sino Finnish 100 Challenge is the main event of the Finland 100 anniversary program in China. Sino Finnish 100 Challenge is organised by RADICAL DESIGN WEEK ASSOCIATION RDWA with our Chinese and Finnish Partners. RDWA is a Finnish non-profit organisation. It's mission is to build future oriented innovative Finnish-Chinese collaboration, create value together and shared wisdom.
We are currently accepting submissions to our Idea Competition until June 3rd.
This year we are also organising a Summer Camp as well as a Challenge Incubation process for promising teams and ideas at the end of this year, where brightest minds work together through A New Way of Doing: creating and designing services, finding new solutions and in building friendship and wisdom together through an idea competition.

THE SINO FINNISH 100 CHALLENGE
QUESTION: Why Sino Finnish 100 Challenge?
ANSWER: Sino Finnish 100 Challenge is the main event of the Finnish Government initiated Finland 100 Official Anniversary Program in China. SF100 Challenge will bring brightest minds to work together through A New Way of Doing: creating and designing services, finding new solutions and in building friendship and wisdom together through the Idea Competition, Summer Camp and the Co-Creation Challenge.

ANSWER: In Practice Sino Finnish 100 Challenge Program contains 3 independent projects and it is aiming to identify and develop ideas to impacts through its projects. The three projects are: Innovation Competition, Summer Camp and Co-creation Challenge.

WHO AND HOW TO PARTICIPATE
QUESTION: Is it possible to participate in each SF100 Challenge Project independently?
ANSWER: You are welcome to participate to Innovation Competition or Summer Camp or Co-creation Challenge separately or to all of them.

ANSWER: There are separate deadlines to each of the three projects:
- Idea Competition deadline is June 3rd, 2017.
- Summer Camp deadline is May 22nd 4 pm GMT, 2017. (Note the early bird date)
- Co-Creation Challenge deadline is August 18th 2017.

ANSWER: Idea competition is looking for most inspiring ideas addressing pressing problems of our time.
QUESTION: How do I participate to Idea competition?
ANSWER: Describe your idea with words and with optional one minute video and submit it on Sino Finnish Challenge website. For describing your idea, explain briefly a relevant problem you want to solve, develop an idea which is aiming to solve that particular problem and identify the resources needed either in China or Finland.

ANSWER: The Co-Creation Challenge is based on best ideas of Idea Competition and Summer Camp and will aim for the big impact, where teams work on world-changing concepts On the Fall 2017. The Co-creation Challenge consists of three phases: IDEAs BREAKFAST, September 2017, IMPACT DAY, October 2017, CO-CREATION DAY, October 2017

THE PRIZES AND AWARDS
QUESTION: What are the Awards for the Idea Competition?
ANSWER: To celebrate Finland’s 100th Anniversary and the next 100 years the organizers have decided to award 100 Awards to the best teams for their ambitious work. There will be THREE GRAND PRIZES: Gold Awards - The Sino-Finnish Wisdom Award by Radical Design Week, Silver Awards - The New Way of Doing Award, Bronze Prize - The Innovation Award. Additionally there will be SEVEN SPECIAL SINO-FINNISH INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM AWARDS and TEN SPECIAL IMPACT AWARDS - The New Way of Doing Idea Competition Special Awards for Teams with Great Potential Impact.
The Top 20 Awards include as bonus a reduced fee for the participation to the Summer Camp including assistance by the organizers to connect the team with relevant actors in the Sino Finnish 100 Challenge Innovation Ecosystem to further develop the proposal of the team. QUESTION: What are the Certificates for the Summer Camp?
ANSWER: All participants will be awarded a precious special certificate as a evidence of active participation. The most innovative teams will be awarded Special Diplomas with precious opportunities to participate in the Co-creation Challenge program. The top participants will get an opportunity to discuss their ideas with the best international experts supporting the Camp.
